Denver Stock Show 2012

Well my first trip to the National Western Stock Show in Denver happened last week, nothing short of impressive. Angus cattle were well represented there both in the Red and the Black Angus. Congratulations to the Canadian exhibitors, you have served Canada proud. I spent 5 days touring through the “yard cattle” and the “hill cattle” with some great opportunity to visit with various people throughout the United States, Canada and Australia. It’s always excellent to keep current with fellow Angus people and what’s going on in their world. Next week will be headed up to Saskatoon for the Saskatchewan Livestock Association convention for the Saskatchewan Director’s meeting and the Annual General Meeting on Friday, always informative.
